Hues Hair is an intimate salon in Richmond, home to a collective of creative stylists with extensive experience in the art of hair. Founded by Jamie Hughes in 2016, after more than twelve years refining his craft, the studio was created with a singular vision: to build a space where every detail is thoughtfully considered, and exceptional hair is at the heart of everything we do.

Designed by Melbourne architect Adriana Hana, the studio is a considered expression of colour and form. Emerald-green floors, soft cream walls, a sculptural blush archway, pointed-arch alcoves, mid-century furnishings and lush greenery come together to create a space that is both distinctive and timeless.

Our colour partner is O&M (Original & Mineral), an Australian-born brand committed to creating high-performance colour with a cleaner approach. By replacing many harsh chemicals with naturally derived extracts and active minerals, O&M delivers exceptional colour while respecting both hair health and the environment.

Deposits are required for all online bookings and are fully refundable, provided your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours' notice.

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice.

A 15% surcharge applies to all services on Victorian public holidays.
